The Seychellois cook has the choice of a multitude of ingredients that are produced locally. Today, the country imports a lot of foodstuffs from different parts of the world that have substituted some of the local ingredients. As we evolve and adapt to modern times, some dishes have unfortunately dropped off our menu or taken a new twist. However, most of our traditional dishes have withstood the test of time as they continue to be handed down to new generations and this blog will assist in this process.
