Soups
The Seychellois Creole cuisine has very few soups in its repertoire. In fact , traditionally, soups are very rarely consumed in the majority of homes. Apart from breadfruit soup, which is a thick soup, most soups are light and made with the leafy greens or bred and fish. One of the most popular soup is a fish soup which, technically is not a soup, as in most cases it is cooked as a bouyon, which is the equivalent of the French bouillabaisse, and consumed as a main dish accompanied with rice topped up with a hot chilli sauce.
