The Zedmo-Riddles of Seychelles- forms part of the Seychellois culture and originates from the French words jeux de mots or ‘vignettes’. In the early colonial days, there was no radio, children as well as adults would get together in the evenings and take part in riddling. This practice was also common in most of the other islands in the region, including Mauritius and Réunion.
